Just called in to work and told them I'm working on a news story from home and just need to call one more source. Told them I'd be in time to get the 11:30 newscast together (it's 10:37 here now and it takes 20 minutes to get to work).

Except I finished that story yesterday afternoon.

You should just get an ISDN line installed at your house. Then you can do all your stuff from bed.

Maybe I can set up a studio in my house and do commercials and news stories here. Then I can charge a monthly fee to the station instead of being on payroll.

Ahh. Work sucks. I've been considering changing jobs again becuase my brain is rotting at my current (desk) job. I was feeling guilty at the idea of leaving because things are so busy here right now... only to come in today and find out that my boss is quitting...like... tomorrow. Crazy stuff.
