any listeners? I heard about half of their new album last night and thought it was pretty interesting, and if not for the gorilla panting through the whole intro i might've even not been afraid of it. I thought there was a lot of variety in the sound (certainly not the satanic ritual that AMG makes it out to be) and that "Phthisis" was a really good song. But I don't think the singer there is a full-time member of the band. Anyway, I was just wondering what any of you might be able to tell me about them.

apologies for anyone that thought this was about an actual museum. I fell for that, too.

Actually, they are named after an actual museum. The story goes, they could not afford to stay open, so they closed after several hours.

That said, I've not heard them. Yet. I've been told I would like them, as I listen to both prog and heavy metal.

I though this was a thread about the guy I just found out is living in one of my storage units. A customer called the Property Manager and told her that she saw this dude BBQ'ing and watching TV at his unit last night. A quick scan of gate entry/exit records and surveillance recordings confirms this.

What does this have to do with Sleepytime Gorilla?

When my mom and dad owned this storage in Griffin in the 80's they found a guy living in a unit. After that, every self-storage liver was referred to as "Sleepy-Time"

dunno, I'm stuck on another property all day; there is power at the end of the building so I'm guessing he is using a drop cord.

she just called me back to tell me that she went and talked to the guy.

he denied it until she produced the gate records, then he kind of broke down, admiited it, said he was homeless, etc......

i mean I feel for the guy, but I'm running a storage here, not a shelter....
