I don't hate Kid A, and in fact see some worth in it. But there is absolutely nothing I find compelling about it. I am never on the verge of tears or any emotional state after listening to it.

Not compelling, or even listenable. In fact, it is 100% Crap. "Voodoo Lounge," now THERE'S a compelling album!

Loogar's love for the Stones just leaves him so wide open it's like he's in Ultimate Fighting with his balls hanging out.

Yeah, strangely Bloor and I had a convo today about this album, and how it is actually pretty good minus the single and that he was gonna pick it up one of these days.

I may goof occasionally, but I don't think the Stones have ever made a completely BAD album. Weak? yes. Disapointing when considering what they used to do? of course. But totally unlistenable shit with no redeeming qualities? nope. Pretty amazing.

grrrrrrrrrrrr... well, to each their own i suppose.

kid a= compelling, i don't know. although, no matter how many times i've listened to "idioteque," i can NEVER get sick of it. all radiohead albums pull my soul apart (except pablo honey).

but i will repeat for the 2738943942th time that the bends does it for me. i get very emotional (both good & bad) every time i listen to that album (for various reasons).
