I just received a package of 17 CD mixes from one of my concertmates. There's ALL kindsa music on 'em. They're gonna provide great company on my trip to Scotland. Speaking of which, I leave tomorrow, so you kids better be on your best behaviour. You never know when I'll pop in and check up on you. ;)

Back to the CDs, I am stunned...damn. What the hell am I gonna bring him back from my trip? Somehow, a cheesy pen with a floating Loch Ness Monster just doesn't seem enough.

That's an insane haul! You do have great friends. Sounds perfect for the ride. Maybe you can bring him some Jameson's or something.

I'm one of your not so amazing friends.

Then claim to be in love with his dad, who has fathered your child.

Darrin, shush! Btw, what are your plans on Friday? I plan on calling you when I get in and thought of hanging out with you a bit before I head to the Highlands (return from there late Monday).

Do you want to go to Edinburgh on Friday? I'm going to be in hot water with the Social Security from Monday onwards so Friday will probably be the last day I can get out and still be in a reasonable mood.

If so just e-mail me a time to met you at Waverley station because I don't deal with telephones anymore.

I've gotta stick close to Glasgow on Friday -- I'm meeting Fraser in the afternoon (he's sneaking away from work) for a couple of pints. You're more than welcomed to join us. Though, I would love to hang with you in Edinburgh on another day if you can...you know how much Fraser hates going there.

Btw, Waverly Station? Is that the name of the one in Edinburgh?

I'll try to email you when I get in. It'll be great to see you again. :)

Shelley, have a great time at Melt Banana on Thursday. Tell me all about when I return or post a review up if you can. You're an amazing friend with or without a mix. :)

Word on the Konstantimixes, Cotton! I have a complete set even the ones made on cassette. I'm sure a pint or two (or three) will entice Mr Frew.

Have a great time, Tania! Perhaps I'll work on a post-vacation mix for you.

Next time I have a guinness, I'll think of ya. :D

Speaking of whiskey, I'm hoping to visit a distillery while there. Apparently, there's one not too far from the Prestwick Airport. And, you get to taste-test! I'm all about that!

The Scottish equivalent of Guinness is Gillespies which is pretty good and which I go through phases of actually prefering to Guinness but not every pub keeps it - even here!

She was originally hitting Dublin on her trip, lest anyone think I'm a moron.

Tania, have a great time! Let us know what the high points are, I leave a month today.
