Shit was intense. I hope Tony doesn't die. Or if he does, maybe I can holler at some Michelle. I can't wait until next week's 2 HOUR SEASON FINALE.

I'm all over it! Doesn't that girl who kidnapped Tony look like the girl from Season 1?? Either way, attractive.

I've loved this season but I'm ready for it to end. I'm also pretty psyched about next week's two hour finale.

I still feel it's the best show on television.

I think I remember reading somewhere that it is the same girl/character.

Mandi I think her name is.

I sure as shit didn't see that one comin'. Her coming back that is. I knew tough that something would happen to tony. He was all lovey dovey and getting back together with Michelle before going out so you knew some shit was about to go down.

This is the first season I've ever WATCHED. It's good action, but the constant "intensity" of the acting bugs me...somebody crack a smile fercrissake. Overall the acting is pretty weak. And how many times is this Marwhan guy gonna get away, a bit rediculous considering what a crack team these guys are supposed to be. And boy did I hate that gratuitous side story about the first director chick and her bi-polar daughter who kills herself....In the basement of their headquarters no less. I mean she has a team of healthcare professionals with one job, keep this chick sedated for one lousy day, and they let her kill herself? Truly truly lame. Still a good show but the best show on TV...I think not!

just thought I'd throw a little cold water on the usual 24 "love-in" thread.

The best show is?? It's TV acting! I'll take that comment back and say Jeopardy is the best thing on tv, but 24 is second!

I'm still curious about Deadwood, but honestly, I don't care for anything else out there. Unless I'm totally missing something. Suggestions?

I gave up on it mid-season last year solely because of the character of Bauer's daughter- what a dreadful actress in a role that was equally unlikeable. I've been watching it again this year, but with more cynicism than the first couple of seasons. It's still at least enjoyable again. Two observations:

1) The blonde-haired woman who plays the computer geek (never remember character names) looks (and mugs for the camera) too much like Gollum for me.

2) The missile looked like it was picked up from the local hobby shop and assembled inexpertly by a 9 year old.

Two dramatic shows I prefer to "24" (not including cable) are;

Law & Order CI...Goren (Vincent Donofrio) is one of the best characters in recent TV memory, almost as good as Pendleton from Homicide, Life on the Street.

House - a really good and different medical drama.

If I include cable the list lengthens considerably...Six Feet Under, The Shield, The Sopranos...

Having been so negative, I have been hooked from season beginning to end. It is very well conceived just somtimes execution is poor. And maybe it's the writing, not the acting that I object to, the characters are just so boringly written, and boring characters make for wooden acting.
