i also always liked gary carter, but since he's in the hall as an expo, i left him off.

hey, not every great player can make the list. keith hernandez and jerry koosman can fight it out for the bottom spot.

Shill is a ZZZ grade Bush supporter, and Kruk is FAAAAAAAT.

i think of dykstra as a met. dutch was good, but had so many mediocre years. schilling should get in that top 5 definitely. i forgot about him. kruk is pretty decent too, i guess. my parents had season tickets for the phils from 1992 til 2004, so i saw everyone in that time. they're still not my team.

I have a soft spot for Hernandez for some reason, possibly because of his fine 80s masculinity and mustache...

uh, wow, that statement reeks of latent homosexuality (or maybe just a schoolgirl-like man-crush ) no problems though by me if you wanna publicly come out on a music message board; we can still be friends, we just can't shake hands anymore.

i was thinking of this as best players while they played for the team. in that sense, i'd probably have replaced pedro with gary carter on an expos list.

vladimir guerrero is the only player i've seen in the minor leagues and been certain would be a star in the majors. and i've seen almost every prospect that's spent time in the eastern league over the last ten years.

Spade: Agreed about Shoeless Joe's entire career, and he deserves to be on your list as well. If this game had each player on their best individual year, though, Joe's an Indian.

Penn State front seven:
1. Courtney Brown
2. LaVar Arrington
3. Shane Conlan
4. Jack Ham
5. Andre Collins

Well Pedro was the one and only Cy Young winner with the team so I figured I had to include him.

The Eastern League? Is that the league with the Harrisburg Senators team (the former Expo's AA club)? Are they now affiliated to Washington? They had some serious players play for that team over the years.

Flyers had some damn good heads as well....

1) Bob Clarke
2) Ron Hextall (For what he did to Chelios alone and scoring goals wasn't bad either)
3) Rick Tocchet
4) Tim Kerr
5) Eric Lindros (When he was healthy and wanted to play)
