I regret choosing Quizno's over Moe's for lunch. The fucking Dr. Pepper was broken, and that ruined my damn day.

That and the general daftness of the workers at the one here make me really wish we had a Chipotle or a Qdoba...or better yet a fucking Taco Stand or some local joint downtown.

oohhh, don't remind me of the addiction. It's been almost 3 weeks. If they made a patch for Chipotle sufferers, or a gum (that tasted like chicken burritos with corn salsa), I'd be buyin that shit to help with the cravings.

DUDE, I used to eat there like every damn day when I lived in DC...and every time I go back I hit it as well. There are allegedly three in ATL, but I think they are all on the North Side (and you know us South Side... don't be knowin nothin about all that big time ish)

Chipotle is great. Baton Rouge has a similar place that's pretty good too - Izzo's. I used to eat there at least once or twice a week. I had a streak of 4 meals in a row.

I used to eat Taco Stand almost everyday for about a year. Nothing like a #4 (chicken burrito and meat taco, chips) + queso and a Dr. Pepper or #5 (Large Chicken quesadilla, meat taco, chips) + queso and a Dr. Pepper to openly take care of a hangover.

All those burrit places are good but if you want THE BEST burrito in Atlanta you must visit The Raging Burrito in Decatur. Freshest stuff, best beer, and the kitchen manager has legendary mongering status. Ol' Savo.

DAT Jamaican Jerk!

But yeah, nothing beats Athens Taco Stand. The Atl One just isn't as good IMO.

Despite the fact that I have had many a mongerous evening there watching you play shows, etc...The ATL T Stand is SORRY.

Recapturing the all-important air of "college cheap" isn't easy, nor probably even possible, in Buckhead.

Now I want a Burrito. Or enchilada. As long as it's big and covered in meat and cheese and sour cream I'm happy.

Jesus, are we STILL on the Chipotle kick? They aren't bad, but y'all really need to get your sorry asses to the west coast to taste some real burritos. ;)

Believe me, before I moved from Atlanta, I was hooked on Frijoleros and Tortillas and their ilk. They got nothing on the west coasters.

edit: for example, there is a place two blocks from my house called La Sirenita that serves the biggest burritos ever... none of them are over 3.50. In fact, the veggie burrito I always get is only 2.75.
