I view this as an opportunity. If they've regrouped, there's a greater likelihood that they'll all die together in some horrible mishap.

They so bad.

Like New Kids On The Block Ready For The World bad

Wouldn't make much sense for them to get back together, though, since no one really cares.

And Emma's solo album is light years above the cheese shit of the group.

Still, several billion girls apparently didn't know they had power until this lot showed 'em the way.

Melanie C's song "On the Horizon" is good, but that's mostly because Gregg Alexander wrote it. I'm not ashamed to own a single by a former member of the Spice Girls. 8)

They had 2-3 songs that're better than any of the low-grade dogshit that the "pop stars" of the last 7-8 years have put out. Faint praise, I know.

And BTW - what's with the reunions coming like, only 5 years after a group breaks up? Give the other side of the bed a chance to cool off first. Yeesh.

Of course, by "bad" I meant "good"

As in they were all well aware of how ridiculous their music was and I give them props for balancing the nudge-winkery with the godawfulness.

I never hated the Spice Girls, just couldn't take adult fans who took them seriously.

No, you were right with the first word.

The reason the Spice Girls were hugely successful was because they released a string of great pop singles.

Perhaps when they come back they can knock a dull-as-fuck indie band off the record company roster....I dunno say Starsailor or one of the other thousands of crappy piece-of-shit indie bollocks that are clogging up the universe with their Urban Outfitters t-shirts, angular hairstyles and blandly melodic choruses make me want to Smith & Weston my brain.

A completely unironic Spice Power to the naysayers!
