I ordered the CD-Single for "Rich Girl" which also comes with "What You Waiting For?" as a bonus track and that's all the Gwen I need for the year.

We got requests for "Rich Girl" constantly at the station, but my boss won't play any hip hop (not AC, says he). So I chopped out Eve on my sound forge program and came up with a 3-minute AC edit. Without the rap, your can hear the Fiddler On The Roof stuff big time.

Wife will NOT take the song off XM in the car if it comes on, dispite my putting it out there that I "fucking HATE this song, it's making my blood pressure skyrocket as we speak, and if you don't take it off I'm going to drive us into the nearest oak tree I have any chance of actually hitting, just for the sweet sweet relief." Nope, still left it on. God help me if Spirit of Radio comes on, and I don't change it for her... [wife voice]"That's different."[/wife voice]

So...next time "Hollaback" comes on, just start shrieking "SAAAAAALESMENNNN!!!!!!"

I actually never heard this tune until about a week ago...wouldn't say I "liked" it, but I was amused that such an odd tune was a #1 tune.

And I would like to have the sex with Gwen.

It's kinda fun when the opening chords of some obscure rush song come on, and there's about 20 seconds where I know it's them before she does. It's all I can do not to give it away. Usually, Geddy starts singing, and she looks up, then looks over at me, and says "you KNEW it, didn't you?!! Goddammit." (changes station). Ahhh, good times.

c'mon Squirrgle--if you let her listen to that garbage, she should at least be able to allow you listening to a little Rush. Compromise goes both ways. Although, in the case of Rush--regardless of agreement--some things are just non-negotiable.

There is a fundamental difference between us that prevents that sort of logic from being realized. I cannot bare the thought of "torturing" her with Rush (and really I'm not that big a fan...), whereas she can definately bare the thought of torturing me with Gwen GARfani from time to time.

When called on it, she just grins, and changes the subject.

I take exception to the inference that Mosley can punch. Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest both beat the fuck outta him. Twice.

By the way, the analysis in the link was not really very "probing" as claimed. Mildly amusing, but not probing.

Yea seriously. I couldn't read past the first few comments, since it was so juvenile.

I bet Gwen didn't write it about actual cheerleaders. I bet.

I bet it's like analogous and what not.

i watched a no doubt/gwen stefani thing on late night tv, and it was in chronological order. The quality of her/their work followed a similar downward trajectory to that of Christian Laettner's basketball career.
