Okay, so the gameplan is that I'm going to ask friend and girl if they want to go out this weekend with me and my friend Brian who is actually better friends with friend than I am.

I think this works somewhat.

Invite another friend along with. A hot female friend. Explain the situation and then ask this hot female friend if she'll seem like she's into you. The girl will then compete for your affections, because chicks do that. It's a dirty, unconscionable trick, but it'll work.

Okay, I don't know why I chose to be so non-specific from the get-go.

The girl's name is Aja. Our mutal friend is Barb. Barb left early from the party and was kind of pissy in a drunk emotional way toward Aja and I which is why I wanted to see if I could avoid involving her if possible.

I'm not even that good friends with Barb to begin with. We used to work together but we've never hung out alone or anything like that. However, my best friend Brian is good friends with Barb. So I figure I'll get Brian to ask Barb if her and Aja want to go out for drinks on Saturday.

I should come across as appearing interested since I suggested it and I hardly ever drink. Plus, I'm pretty sure she already got the vibe that I like her since I made her dinner and everything.

Whatever, this ended up becoming a lot more involved and personal than I had intended it to be. It was meant to just be a quick question, but oh well.

No, I made her dinner at the party. The party was that lame. People were sitting around drinking and talking. She wanted to go pick up food but nobody was interested so we went upstairs and I made her some spaghetti and salad.
