This is a dupe of a topic I started over at Hipinion, but I'm curious to see what differences there are (if any) in the responses between sites.

My listings:
Beatles - Past Masters I and II
Super Furry Animals - OutSpaced
Paul Weller - More Wood
The Jam - Extras

Okay... let's hear 'em.

Pixies - Complete B-Sides

Nothing comes close, in my book.

Aren't the Past Masters both A-sides and B-sides?

or, most of Join the Dots. I could do without the last disc and be fine.

No runoff, just an experiment.
I was gonna post it here, but was at HP at the time.
I thought it might be interesting to see how the two compared on such a straight-ahead topic.

So far, it's pretty similar.

OTC--Singles and Beyond
Apples--Science Faire
Dressy Bessy--Little Music

Guided By Voices--Demons and Painkillers (excellent)
Gomez--Trolley
Don Caballero--Singles Breaking Up

While it consists of some A-sides, I've found the new Belle & Sebastian to be a damn good investment.

Adam Ant: B Side Babies

This is tough, since for the most part I have the singles I don't pay attention to the comps.

Super Furry Animals - Outspaced
Sugar - Besides (especially the version with the live disc)

I'm drawing a total blank on any others at the moment . . .

Don't know if it counts, but Stereolab's Oscillons from the Anti-Sun are pretty good. I am not sure but the songs maybe a collection from ep's and/or single releases. It's good though.

Zombies - The Singles A's & B's

Exactly.

...Oh... and what seafoamrush said as well. There's some good stuff on those b-sides.

Argh... hate to admit it but Tori Amos had some cool b-sides as well.

Oh... and Broadcast's b-sides are wicked.

it's many of the his n hers/different class-era b-sides. i think it's pretty great, but i also tend to think anything pulp did in the 90s is wonderful. having "seconds" and "street lites" alone makes it one of my favorite b-side compilations.

The Small Faces - Singles: A's & B's
is pretty good, too.

Already mentioned: Suede, Cure, Tori (not really a compilation)

Also: Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds

Also (also not really a compilation) Garbage, especially the material from their first album -- they didn't put a bad track out
