i burnt out on 'em. their first couple albums are pretty good, but i find 'em bland after that. i have too much of dmb on mp3 now so he spins thru WAY too often. (when i'm home, i often skip 'em.)

i haven't really kept up with dmb since crash, but i like most of his stuff up to that point.

can't stand ant's marching or satellite though.

saw him once acoustic with tim reynolds, and it was a fantastic show.

I like some of Dave's singles such as "Crash" and that new "American Baby" song, but I've had a hard time getting into his albums.

i've found that lots of DMB fans ONLY love DMB.
they might like other music, but they only LOVE DMB.

that's strange.

The only one of those groups I find above-average is My Morning Jacket, so I'm not that impressed. Or surprised.

just because he's a good 'performer' and puts on a good live show, doesn't mean you can overlook the shit that spews forth from his mouth. It's just non-thinking music made by someone who doesnt think. I think he is worse than Nickleback and Three Doors Down and all that shit, because at least no one respectable thinks they're half decent. Luckily here, the general public is yet to 'discover' DMB, so i don't have to put up with that shit.

I could live with DMB if those others didn't exist.

I respect dave and co. for working their ASSES off to make it. Doesn't mean that I like their music, but I respect them for their work ethic, and, as I've said, Dave seems like a nice, cool guy.
Just cant like the tunes.
