Well, almost shaved, i'm out of new, sharp razor blades, and if you've ever had a self inflicted scalp wound from an old dull razor blade... it's not cool, although it probably looks cool to someone else.

So i buzzed my head with my beard trimmer, and blended my safe, short, boring beard into it. And trimmed my beard up some more.

I now look like my old pics, but with an in control beard, instead of a goatee.

I might shave it down to goatee before the afternoon is through, and chance the old dull razor on my scalp. After all, i'm a professional.

Phil, stay with beard. I know you're not a "white guy" per se, but I just don't like the look of folks w/ goatees. You only really have three options:
1. the full goat aka The Sports Talk Radio Goatee
2. The shaped goat aka The Backstreet Boy Goatee
3. The Chin goat aka no mustache

of the three I thin option 3 is best, but they are all worse than a full beard or clean shaven.

Just my opinion, but also just sayin'

It'd be option 1 or beard.

Thanks Robotboy...and you can see that all of these are basically equally bad.

I used to rock the chin and the chin + mustache (w/ separation) in later college years...then I grew a full beard, and any time I have facial hair (except for th joke times when I wanna shave and wear a stache for a few days) now it is a full beard.

Just sayin.

Not a very big pic..but this is who I think of when referring to the sports talk radio goatee: Chris Dimino

The chin beard sans mustache is negatively sexy. Like little rectangular eyeglasses. Certified erection deflaters, both of them.

The chin + mustache (w/ separation), however, is knee-weakeningly fine.
