Just by coincidence, meaning unrelated to the bombings, I need to make a mix with songs about and/or mentioning London. I figured you Obnerites with your encyclopedic knowledge of music (yes, I'm trying to butter you up) could suggest some stuff beyond the obivous London Calling, etc.,. Thanks in advance.

Perhaps the greatest pop song ever IMHO (and sweetest double negative). When I heard about the bombings what played in my head:

"Millions of people swarming like flies 'round waterloo underground
But terry and julie cross over the river
Where they feel safe and sound
And they don't need no friends
As long as they gaze on waterloo sunset
They are in paradise"

Ray Davies is releasing his first solo effort ever this summer??

Can't believe so many people have mentioned The Smiths but nobody mentioned "Panic":

"Panic on the Streets of London"....
