Anyhow, I love Chicago, I really do. But I feel like I owe it to myself to give it a shot out there. I'm really fearful about moving out there though. Part of it is the comfort of knowing where I am, and how to get around, and being entrenched in the music scene here, etc...

I'm thinking about coming out to visit for a bit and check it out.

I am gonna be in San Fran in September for the Yankees / A's 3 game set, and am looking even more forward to molesting the San Fran and Berkely Amoeba's!

i was in the exact situation of moving from la to nyc. i've been in nyc for 7 months and it's still hard for me to meet people at shows. most people in la are friendly and will talk to you. in nyc, everyone feels comfortable being around their friends and not looking like the loner. they usually stick together and it seems like they don't really want to get to know you. but that's just me. maybe i just come off as being a scary, evil, nasty, horrible, sleazy, crazy, maniacal, perverted freak. tania, i miss la!

Give Andy and the boys my best! I missed 'em when they were here last week. I would've gone but didn't feel like paying to see them open for Billy. Plus, I had no cheesecake with me.
