I have those Japanese Belew disks. I think I even know where they are (albeit, not handy). I'll pull 'em out next time I'm over there.

I go way back. I recently picked this up:

Don't know how obscure it is, but on several other music boards I'm on, there's a thread devoted to it, so perhaps it's not that obscure. But I wonder...anyone hear herd of it?

Yes, I noticed the two typos, but decided to leave them, since it was funny.

Jeebus. I have not heard of ANY of these albums.

Except the Dirty South of course.

Old and obscure is relative me thinks...first thing that pops in my head, however, is stuff on vinyl I have like Opal's Happy Nightmare Baby. Also, I have an LP from a band called Hula which I've never found again, ever. :/

EDIT: sorry for the duplicaitons...don't know how to delete posts (tech problems)

Man, I used to love that song "She's A Diamond" - haven't heard it for (seriously) about 20 years. I'll have to dig out that vinyl.

I will loudly and lustily recite this piece upon request.

It pissed me off to no end when the CD turned out to be tracked like the album--5 or 6 pieces per track. I so wanted 50 tracks on shuffle, dammit!

This is cool. It tries so hard to be scary but comes across as cheesy, but cheesy in a good way. It's no Horse Rotorvator though.
