allmusic gives it 4 stars and a pretty nice review, with comparisons to mercury rev and grandaddy

Hey, I may be new to posting on Obner, but I have been lurking on these boards for over a year now. The fact that this album has coaxed me into posting, just so I can spread the word must mean something to you. How can I have 9 replies to my topic so far and not one of have even heard it yet?

I understand I am new here, but I am not new to music. I am obssesed with music and I find a lot of you on these boards have very similar tastes to mine.

Give the album a chance, then let me know what you think.

Thanks man. Not to worry though, its all rolling off me like a greased sea bass. I know its all in good fun. Besides, I will get my satisfaction when I see it on half of the obner posters year end lists. :wink:

ok, maybe i was a bit harsh at first, but it really isn't that good i'm afraid. it has that dark, deep vibe...but it's missing a lot.

maybe on his next album. if this is on peoples end of the year lists, then they haven't heard much good music this year.
