Bands on the Run

What ever happened to that vh1 reality show about bands competing on tour for a record deal. i was at audiolunchbox and listened to snippets of a fickerstick album and, though it wasn't great, i realized that that was the only reality show i ever actually watched (oh and the stand up comedy one). anyone hear why they never did a second "bands on the run" series?

After the first season, they held auditions for season two. I don't know if they ever filmed any of it or not.

Not sure why it was cancelled. It was definitely better than Celebrity Fit Club and the other crap shows they play on VH1 now.

I heard cause it was too expensive to produce....

I thought he Flickerstick record was excellent.......seriously.
