I was going to be trading in Madden '04 (all $2 worth of it) to get '05 but it sounds like I may have to get this as well. I need a good baseball game.

I'm around the 105 game mark, and I lead the majors in HR by far.

Hell, I've hit 10 with John Valentin, who I only use as a backup or pinch hitter.

I had a hard time early on, but I just sit on fastballs. I rarely swing at offspeed or breaking balls, especially sliders.

Also, watch your pitchers, Randy Johnson comes to mind, especially. You can see the ball in his glove during the wind-up, so you can see what pitch is coming.

The gameplay itself is better. Lefties can hit homeruns. Still a few things that suck but it's a bit better than last years. I hate that injured players complain about playing time still.
