Yesssssss
Does anyone else who plays this have trouble hitting home runs?
I don't have a single player with over 10 home runs and I'm 3/4 through the season. I just can't seem to hit em.
I'm around the 105 game mark, and I lead the majors in HR by far.
Adam Dunn, 33
Ken Griffey, 25
Sean Casey, 23
Joe Randa, 23
Hell, I've hit 10 with John Valentin, who I only use as a backup or pinch hitter.
I had a hard time early on, but I just sit on fastballs. I rarely swing at offspeed or breaking balls, especially sliders.
Also, watch your pitchers, Randy Johnson comes to mind, especially. You can see the ball in his glove during the wind-up, so you can see what pitch is coming.
