I've been enjoying these three songs featuring the ex-frontman of Placebo, so I figured I'd share for those interested.

Oh yea! I never got into that stuff, but I saw the guest collab. My friends a few years ago only use to bump trance and I couldn't handle it. Drove me nuts.

I'm hesitant because the link ends in POO. I'll probably d/l it anyway, though, cuz I really like Placebo.

You're welcome. I spun them again today and enjoyed them. But then look at what I'm playing right now...

Isn't Timo Maas more like Breaks Trance or Breaks for the Trance crowd or Trancey Breaks. From what I remember friends into that stuff he wasn't straight up PVD/Oakie Trance but more crunchy/breaky type stuff you'd hear at a Moontribe or some Burningman decompression party as some dreadlocked crusty dances around with fire sticks.

I like this too, it's on one of my latest mixes. I had no idea Placebo had broken up though, that's bad news. And I never thought Timo Mass was a "trance" dj. Some of his earlier work that I heard was hard and hypnotic techno. He has done some really good remixes over the years.

Does anyone have any confirmation that they've broken up? Perhaps he's just adding his vocals to someone else's music, as has been known to happen.

PS Medigs this, too.

if you ever heard him spin, yes, it's trance. most of his production work is on the harder, progressive side though.

i dig the first day track. it's on my dance mix i'm making.

Placebo haven't broken up. They were recently on tour.

My fault for referring to Molko as the ex-frontman. I honestly thought they were defunct.
