Awesome! Gear-ups are really no big deal, lots of sparks, that's about it. Makes for great news footage, though--and that scarebus will be out of service for weeks.

Oooh, even better, the gear's down but the nose gear is at an angle. Still no biggie, but they could end up in the grass.

Hope those low-paid Jetblue guys have had enough sim time for stuff like this.

The programming content is controlled, and you can be sure this has been suppressed. The industry pretty much learned this after everone on the American DC-10 in Chicago watched themselves crash.

ANA still has nose gear cameras for take-off and landings on their domestic (intra-Japan) flights.

I couldn't watch anymore because I kept thinking "what if this plane crashes or something while I'm watching". ugh. I hope this lands safely soon.

This is really pathetic. Our local news here cannot tear themselves away from this---and I guarantee they're hoping for a fiery crash. Depsite all the local Delta pilots they're interviewing "live" over the phone saying that this is not a big deal, and that they'll likely land fine without incident, they want to talk about the plane crash with a gleam in their eye.
