this has all the potential to be a trainwreck of epic proportions.

Been there. Are you at least getting overpaid?

Flask.

Unfortunately, this was my arrangement too. And poor ol Busty got co-opted into it to boot! I was hoping somebody I know would finally get one of those magic-money wedding gigs.

Seriously, bring a flask. Or do I even have to tell you that?

At least you rehearsed.
The soloists at our wedding (wife's brother & friend and wife's best friend) didn't even [practice.

The flutist just stopped playing when her accompanying tape ended (about 60 seconds too early, as we were walking up the aisle); and my brother in-law and his friend just fucked around on their guitars for a while and amused themselves while people were being seated.

You guys are ahead of the game, Ryan.

yeah we have practiced a lot for it. here's what we're playing.

in my life
here comes the bitch
13 (big star)
would you believe (the hollies)

the here comes the bride was the trickiest because that song is all over the place. so basically we just play the main DUM DUM DUM-DUM over 4 times then do something we made up that fits. luckily they're cool with this.

For the wedding Loog officiated, we played (instrumental only) Fuck Her Gently and others for the seating portion, and then Holiday Road ala Matt Pond for when they walked down, per request. Well, the matt pond was requested anyway. The rest was just for us.

When you head east with PAP, you should join forces with Laura Lynn/Band....

(Note: I just pulled that from the top of the rock/pop form Google ad.)
