I'd just like to say that the Dirtbombs fucking took my head off last night (!!!!)

Everyone I had spoken to prior had given them a luke-warm live rating, but holy shit, they fucking rock.

Especially the female bassist. So cool.

They played all my favorite songs.

Such a good rockin', soulful vibe.

these guys are a great live show. i've had a blast every time i've seen them.

Every time I see them I feel the same way. It's just what rock n roll should be.
Alex, if you dig The Dirtbombs, try checking out another great great great Detroit band called The Hard Lessons.
Not the same musically (guitar/drums/keys with guy/girl vocals) but it's got the same soulful power of The Dirtbombs.
Their live shows border on being religious experiences for me.

The 2 songs on their Web site (www.thehardlessons.com) are a little more on the indie side, but try to find "I Can't Stand It" or "Stop! Stop! Stop!". Awesome stuff.
