Steve Carrel w/ Kanye West



I'm not even a Kanye fan, but I thought that first live performance was pretty damn good. I generally find live hip-hop performances pretty boring, but he has got it.

Prior to his performance, they showed him talking backstage with Lorne Michaels. He then walks down a hallway and Mike Myers is standing at a lunch table drinking some coffee. The awkward situation led to Mike mumbling about having his citizenship revoked and how he's now followed everywhere, while Kanye walked off.

What must we do to rid the planet of Horatio Sanz.

I can't believe I am still watching this, it isn't even partly funny. I can't even recall one memorable skit.

Oh, come on...its cute.

I'm hoping Horatio gets bird flu on the air.

When Horation finally does get bird flu, I hope he gives it to fucking Fred Armisen.

It seems to me that we've been giving poor Horatio too many Horations. Gotta cut down on the sweets big man.

The new guy's Pacino was dead-on. Otherwise, Kenan's about the only cast member earning his pay these days.

Oh come on. Finesse's bit on Weekend Update was awesome. I do agree that the new guys Pacino was tremendous.

I still think Will Arnett is quite underrated and Seth Myers does a good job as the guy who plays the majority of the white straight-man roles. He's got to be better than Jimmy Fallon but still.

So long as we agree that will arnett is not a cast member on SNL.

When I see current SNL skits I think to myself, "Who the hell wrote this and thought it was funny?"

That is correct. Will Arnett is Arrested Development.

debbie downer makes me laugh. that's about it. i watch SNL because I am too old to go out that late.

I watch because I'm a loser who chooses not to go out despite being young and these presumedly being the best years of my life. Also, I'm up until 4 am every night so I need to watch something to kill the time.

Next week should be pretty bad. I hate that Jon Heder guy and Ashlee Simpson's only been brought back because she's hopefully make a huge fool of herself again and cement her showbiz death.
