should I put a new hard drive in my 5 year old ibook or should I buy a new computer all together?

I use illustrator and photoshop and store my music. I have no more room for music and it's getting annoying.

new hard drive approx 250.00

new computer approx 1500.00

New hard-drive.

Spend the remaining 1100 or 1200$US on a trip to Miami and blow.

Live it up like a rock-star, playa.

If you're happy with the computer, just go for the drive.

the mac mini is a very good choice. dont forget that youre basically buying a desktop that shares many of the components with mac laptops. the hard drive, video card and processor are pretty much the same. not that theres anything wrong with that, you should just know it before buying.

Get a newer used or refurbished computer. I recently purchased a 2.6 Ghz P4 desktop for $200.

That's a great deal. Where did you find that?
