everyone give your mama some love today.

today would've been my mom's 59th birthday.
(she passed away on october 26, 2003)

All I know is something like a bird within her sang
All I know she sang a little while and then flew on

you got it, daystar.
this year was the tenth anniversary of my mom's death at 60.
she was a party monster.

do something fun in memory of your mom today.
you know that's what she would have wanted.

Wow, my mom turns 59 in 13 days. Small world. Sorry about your loss. My dad died when he was 59...something weird about that number.

My dad is 59 this year, and one of my uncles recently told me it's been 4 generations and no male LooGAR has made it to 70..fuck I hope I have ten years left with him at least.

I needed to call my mom today anyway, daystar, but will make a priority of it now.

Hey, you made me look so good--I left a message the first time and it turned out she was off having one of her cats put to sleep (sad, but not unexpected) and came home to a thoughtful message from the kid she doesn't understand. Then we talked about towels, and I was very engaged in the conversation, and etc etc. You should be in family therapy. The business of, I mean :)

I lost my mom almost 3 years ago. But you reminded me I still have to check up on my dad. Thanks Daystar.

My mom just turned 59.
I will be sure to call her today.
Maybe see if I can buy her lunch.
