when i saw shout out louds over the summer, they didn't have their drummer and did a real laid-back show. it was pretty cool, but then they smoked when the dears' drummer played two songs with them. wow. i'm hoping that it'll be like that when i see them next week. i, unfortunately, haven't heard anything about tom vek's show. he's coming back around next week, though.

looking at the schedule, maybe i can make both. vek doesn't come on till around 1am... hmmmm
