Yo! white dudes! what's up with the avatars?

i had al bundy, george michael, and about 8 other white dudes so is it wrong to have a black guy - especially when my username, willie mcgee, is in fact black.

no - we only take the most qualified avatar but we make strong efforts to increase the depth of minorities and women in our avatar candidate pool and will use race or gender as a tie-breaker to meet our avatar-goals for the year.

Or, maybe, it's an homage to the greatest magazine cover tease in history: Transworld Skateboarding - I think that was the title; I know, at the least, that it was a skate mag - featured on one of its overs in Fall '00 the phrase "Black Dudes in Sweden" (for the story about a mixed-race group of pro street skaters touring Scandinavia). As well, apparently, it was to indicate that, finally, Sweden had been integrated. Because there are no Afro-Swedes, eh?
