Tonight: Chill at the house and watch a movie with the lady and her Mom probably.

SHERRY DARLING

Your Mamma's yappin' in the back seat
Tell her to push over and move them big feet
Every Monday morning I gotta drive her down to the unemployment agency
Well this morning I ain't fighting tell her I give up
Tell her she wins if she'll just shut up
But it's the last time that she's gonna be ridin' with me

(Chorus)
You can tell her there's a hot sun beatin' on the black top
She keeps talkin' she'll be walkin' that last block
She can take a subway back to the ghetto tonight
Well I got some beer and the highway's free
And I got you, and baby you've got me.
Hey, hey, hey what you say Sherry Darlin'

Now there's girls melting on the beach
And they're so fine but so far out of reach
Cause I'm stuck in traffic down here on 53rd street
Now Sherry my love for you is real
But I didn't count on this package deal
And baby this car just aint big enough for her and me

I have nothing planned this weekend, which is nice for a change.

I have a few movies I can watch (Band of Outsiders, LOTR: Return of the King, The Underneath, Kung Fu Hustle, Fargo)

The International Car Expo is in town, which I might decide to go to.

Football both days, especially Panthers/Bears on Sunday Sunday Sunday.

Picked up the Last Waltz on dvd, so I'll watch that for sure.

Have you seen this before? Get a 12er of some good beers or a few bottles of wine and settle in for my favorite concert film ever.

Haven't seen it, but have heard it, courtesy of Bloor. I was walking around the big box and saw it for $9. It was a no brainer. Got the booze all ready for it.

This is one of those things that you wish you could erase from your memory so you can see it again for the first time. Enjoy, mate!

nice. she wants revenge is great live, the lead singer has a great persona on stage. (and don't worry, i like ok go too).

yeah my weekend started last night, went to see spoon at the wiltern and i'm hungover. please make the pain go away.

tonight: my friend's band, army navy, is opening up for arctic monkeys at spaceland tonight. once it hits midnight, it's the best friend's birthday, so we'll be gettin' crunk. alcohol got me in this mess, alcohol will get me out!

tomorrow: best friend's birthday dinner, and bar hopping after.

sunday: recovery and go see walk the line. i have a feeling amoeba will be in the mix too. then clean apt, laundry, and catch up on some reading. i'd like to see black heart procession that night, but i think i will be too tired to go out on sunday.

Fri: pull close shift at kino (530p 'til 130a); restrain myself from attacking Harry Potter fans in costume (though if they're kids, I don't mind anyway... the adults who dress up - they [i]should[/b] be beat)

Sat: open kino at 730a, work 'til 330p; nap 'til six; shower and dress to go out with friend; see Ike Reilly Assassination with her; try not to drink too much

Sun: sleep in; read paper; extract checks for their share of elec/gas and cable from roommates; work 700p 'til 130a

Mon: at office from 730a 'til 400p; watching Vikes-Packers with father thereafter; maybe stop at Atomic Records beforehand

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that and now I'm actually pretty excited for this show. I assume it's a full band, right??

I almost saw them last Friday but the girlfriend got sick and the tickets went unused.

Friday: Bulls are on WGN, so hopefully it won't be blacked out down here in STL.

Saturday: Uh, nothing. Beer and maybe watching my two Netflix movies (Hotel Rwanda, Batman Begins)

Sunday: NFL Sunday Ticket and Da Bears and Da Beer

I guess I should have just posted here about going to see MMJ w/jagged tonight, instead of starting a whole thread about it. That's what I get for scanning the board, instead of actually reading it...[homer j.]lousy stupid lack of time[/homer j.]
