I actually hope they don't beat them so UCLA can down them in their last game of the season. And yes, I honestly think that can be done.
BAH.
Three times consecutive national champion (and would have been three times consecutive winner of Mike Tranghese's Plaything (by the way, does dude still get to chair the BCS after Big East is kicked out in a year or three?) if not for that Oklahoma bulla).
Suck it, Westwood.

The University of Second Choice (couldn't get into Stanford) will lose on Dec. 3. They've been hanging on all season... their secondary will be picked apart by Olson.

Funny you mention Stanford, rejection, and USC... Brother did his undergrad in Troy, applied to seven grad. schools (for physics), got into six of seven. Cornell, UIUC, UCSB (where he ended up), USC, Cal Tech, and MIT accepted him; Stanford was his lone rejection. Seems, then, that if rejection at Palo Alto is the criterion for anything, it is such for intellectual prowess.
Yup.
