i'm onto these after finishing off the Coronas that someone left in my fridge



and i don't think we have any liquor laws here RE: Sunday trading. It's left up to the individual stores to decide when and when not they wish to vend liquor. But then again, you only have to be 18 to drink here, and weed is legal in two of our 8 states (unfortunately it is illegal in the other 6, one of which i happen to inhabit).

I believe I wound up having:

1 Scotch Ale of some sort that was a little disappointing
2 Bell's Winter White Ales
...and part of a 22 of Rogue Dead Guy (split 'er with busty)

Milwaukee County operates the same. Bar time is two a.m. Sun-Thurs, possibly two-thirty Fri and Sat; liquor stores close at nine p.m. and groceries close liquor sales at same time.

I think it has something to do with all the taverns we have.

As it is, it can't be for safety/health reasons, since encouraging people to do their late-eve drinking in a bar, from which they'll prolly have to drive home, should lead to more DUI. Conversely, if you buy at the liquor store, and take home and drink, you're already where you'll need to be for passing out in a pool of your own vomit purposes. No DUI required, then.

no, it's just been hard to find around here lately. Beer distributorships adhere to some archaic practices, so sometimes a distro simply won't sell one beer to certain stores or will buy distro rights to a competing beer just to not sell it. it's a big pain in the arse.

Yeah, you're going to miss Knight, and Heytvelt, for that matter. UW lost a lot to graduation and the NBA from last year, but have reloaded fairly well.
