i'm so jealous of anyone who got an ipod. i want one more than anything

I really shouldn't feel so entitled, but I got one for my birthday a couple of years ago and even sold my off-brand mp3 player in anticipation. Sadly, before I was even able to open it, my wife had to return it due to our fiscal situation at the time. So, not only did I not get the iPod, I had already gotten rid of my other mp3 player, as well.

Truly a sob story to rival Katrina and the Tsunami, ain't it?

Hey i'm happy that you got the ipod, especially after that. That must have sucked to give up your mp3 player to end up having nothing at all.
Enjoy it! If you don't, sell it to me!

I'm sure Blue Milk will hook you up once he gets promoted. If not, I will personally take up a collection on your behalf from my fellow Obnii. You're good people in my book.

If he did buy me a 60GB Ipod, I would definitely have a difficult time finding something to compare to that gift in return to his.
I'd have to buy him 40 cds or something. Or 20 cds, 10 DVDs, 1 box set, and something else unexpected.

You sure the shiatsu version is the upgraded version? I saw the shiatsu for $99.99....the quad roller was $149.99 and the remote had many more massage functions..?

Our family spent all our $$ on getting together, not on presents. We had a $5 limit on gifts, mainly because the winery/B&B where we stayed was so expensive.

But the place was a trip. 3 stories high (one lower floor for the hosts), rooms for one or 2 people, breakfast & all the wine you could drink in the heart of California wine country. Gorgeous views, with a Jacuzzi and a 4-month-old golden retriever pup (and 2 cats) to play with. A wood burning pizza oven, a lap pool, a buttload of Guiness and Moylan's Kiltlifter Scotch Ale (8%), and good company, if I don't say so myself.

Quite awesome.

So, no gift stories here, except for one sister who bent the rules and gave me $100 cash. 8) Image
