on this eve of the new year, my maternal advice to all of you is:
don't be stupid, stupid.

i expect everyone to check in at roll call by midnight monday.
and this goes double for mikey out in the desert.

i havent had that many different substances in one night for awhile

ooooh. my tummy is rumbling. i drank too much.

I had several people ask me tonight how it felt to be the only sober people at the party and what was it like.

I told em it was ok, kinda boring and I was out way past my bedtime anyways to care. But I did get to see a lot of people get hideously drunk which I probably would never have noticed before.

Now we're home and going to bed.

Cute note: Some people at the party were wishing my stomach aka the baby happy new years tonight. It was goofy but cute.

I had a fun night until about 30 minutes ago. Then my 'best friend' left without me (though we were suppoosed to walk home together), and when I called her to find out where she had gone, she blamed it on me, then said that the conversation was ridiculous, and hung up on me. So I walked home through the ghetto for 20 minutes by myself.
And for my New Year's kiss, I got a peck on the cheek from my gay guy friend. Yeah. Go me.
Ugh. Time for bed.

I've been beyond stupid the past two nights.

I never went out. I'm still waiting to kick this stupid illness.

My NYE was spent with a bunch of couples that are on their way up the Nashville social ladder. FUCKING SUCKED. I got trashed and watched the South Park marathon. Probably the 2nd worst NYE ever.

My idea of hell.

I had a big glass of milk and some cake.

Drank (drank, drank, drank...), crashed at a friend's (I don't remember walking down the steep and snowy steps to her place, but I guess I didn't fall), went to work in pajamas (it was that or wear my alcohol soaked jeans) and got home today around 7 PM (yay. sleep.).

For the record, the beer spilled on my jeans was not mine and for how quickly the champagne went to my head I could have been bad, but stayed good the whole night.

we took a limo home and I didnt get my truck until before work this morning. it wasnt really a planned thing but when somebody says "get in the limo" you do.
