Better late than never. This is Gracie. She is a Bearded Collie, and is the apple of FemGar's eye. Super sweet, very friendly, and as The Colonel says "She is low on the priority list to be shot."

Pretty exotic dog for Alabama as well. You should see the looks we get.

Half-lame, rescued three years ago from the humane society, sitting here in our old place (in her chair) with the kittens of a stray I picked up in a freezing parking lot in January. Stray was like 7 months old, and already knocked up, turns out. Kittens immediately fell in love with the big, warm pitbull.

=Cuteness to the third power.

that's true, Cap'n.... she is adorable. However, I still stand firmly behind my sweet boy Bean, who is damn near impossible to fuck with when it comes to cuteness. This pic was taken when he was about 3 (he's 12 now).

He's a chow/collie mix. My sister found him in front of a grocery store, in a box full of other pups from his litter. The owner was trying to get rid of them all. Luckily she pulled him out for me and gave him to me for Christmas in 1993. She told me he had shepherd in him too, but I don't really see that.

The orange kitties are gone, as is their momma. We gave them away, and it hurt like shit. To be honest, I tried not to get too attached, but the little male kitten kinda got in there, and I teared up a bit when he left.

All that's left now are Fatness, Carmelita and Gordo (the pug who doesn't like wilco's AGIB).
