It sounds lame, but every time I throw on the Dambuilders' "Ruby Red" I am amazed at how good some of those songs are.
Proof that violin on a rock record doesn't automatically = suck.

Oh dear Lord! Tool hits me like a ton of bricks every time i put them on. The Crow soundtrack has a very similar effect. I think it's the dark abrassive but somehow timeless appeal of the albums. i'll be appreciating them thangs into my fifties.

When I hear this album, I am a senior in high school, skipping school, and getting high riding around ATL, immediately.

I've dusted off a few rekkids lately, the number 1 I can think of right now is Scarface "The Diary" so much killing, it's wonderful.

About a year ago I dusted of Ted Nugent's "Free For All", thanks to someone playing the title cut on the jukebox at the bar down the street. I don't care what you think about Nugent's politics or outlook on life, "Free For All" is a tremendous record, and is the only reason I can forgive Meatloaf's solo projects.

Black Sheep - A wolf in sheeps clothing.

I loved it in middle school but only had it on tape until i replaced it a few years ago and it's amazing how many top notch tracks are on that album.

I was thinking the same thing...How old are you? I think we're right at the same age. I haven't got a copy of that Black Sheep album anymore, but will need to rectify, and soon.

The Shakespeare Stout is one of my favourite beers (well, alcoholic beverages) from one of my favourite beer manufacturers (well, alcoholic beverage distilleries). I also like the Mocha Porter.
