Here's where we try to out do each other. This is a self-aggrandizing thread. Please try to one-up me. The plans have to be real.

EDIT: 8:45am Exchange gifts
I got her this: Image and a sweetly humurous card.
She got me: Assorted rasberry chocolate-mix treats (mostly Choxie and Archer Farms stuff from Target), a card, and the following CDs, 4 of which have yet to arrive:
Cat Power -Dear Sir
Cat Power -Myra Lee
Cat Power -What Would the Community Think
Cat Power -Moon Pix
Cat Power -The Covers Record
*Some how she has gotten the impression that I am in love with Chan Marshall, which isn't really true. If it was anyone's back catalog to receive, it would have been The Flaming Lips. **sidenote: does anyone else think it is odd that she bought me records by a girl that she thinks I have a crush on? I appreciated the gift very much, but just thought it was a tiny bit odd.

6:00pm - Reservations at Park Cafe
4 course meal - yessir; Finish time is TBA
7:30-ish - smoke weed then drive downtown to the Ryman Auditorium for the Sigur Rós show.
10:00pm-ish - Drive home after having my senses over-stimulated at Sigur Rós show.

yes, discostu does advertise.

depends. he has class* until 9 on tuesdays, but it might get moved. if so, semi-ironic dinner at red lobster with another couple. if not, i fully expect him to make it up to me in several different, spontaneous ways.

* this "class" consists of sitting at a coffee shop drinking wine and discussing nietzche with eight other people and a 26 year old professor.

Already got DAT VILLA at Callaway GARdens (she payed) with dinner and dancing including. We went light on gifts, because we both spent ourselves into oblivion for Christmas. So, I got her a fine t-shirt from Target she liked and the Special Edition Breakfast at Tiffany's DVD.

Oh, and then of course tomorrow I will drive up after work, have dinner and then drive home in the morning (but that ain't necessarily for LOVE ;) )

I'm handing out resumes and then probably watching a movie on the computer by myself.

Emilios?

Just wondering because I was talking to Josh about that place today. I love tapas and want to go out and get it but I can't not have the goat cheese, and well, I can't for a few more months. darnit.

that's where we went last year (well, 2 years ago; last year i was in the hospital) and, while it was awesome, we have a gift certificate to a place called the living room, in oakbrook. we'll see how it is.

My girlfriend has a class and I agreed to work the Roller Derby practice that night, as I am tonight. We exchanged gifts this afternoon, since we combined anniversary and Valentine's gifts.
It is a good thing we aren't going to dinner tomorrow, because all the good restaurants in Lincoln are packed on that night. It's not like Omaha which leads the nations in restaurants per capita.

Don't know yet... will probably dine in. Got some steaks in the freezer, make up a nice salad, whip up some mashed potatoes, open a bottle of vino... voila.

plus, I just got him these at lunch:

He had been debating between these and a pair of Borns, and he ended up getting the Borns. I thought he should have both!

hehehee The Living Room. Haven't heard that name in a while.

Back when my ma was a single divorcee her and her friends used to hang there. Apparently it used to be a HUGE middle aged meat market.
