In May at the Civic Opera House. Is this a must go to show?? Let me know please because after ticketmaster charges I see the ticket price being at close to $50. That's a lot of cash for one show, but the venue alone is intriguing as fuck.

I'm basing the price on the price listed for I think the MI show, which is $35.
Nothing else was listed. After Ticketmaster it could be close to $50.

Can you buy tickets (or have a friend buy tickets) at a box office somewhere to avoid the Ticketmaster charges? $35 is still over my concert limit, but it's much better than $50.

I don't think he meant day of show, I think he just meant at the venue, so no service charge.

The $30 I payed to see them at the Portland State was pretty tough to swallow, and at $50, I don't think I would have done it.

That does sound like an unbelievable venue, though.

c'mon, most of us trick off $50 so fast that it's a joke. Fucking suck it up, buy it, check out the show.

And what's the difference between $35 and $50? Two overpriced beers?

I think it's more principle than the actual cash. I asked a friend and he already told me no because he feels he'd fall asleep and his attention span couldn't handle a Sigur Ros show. James, any interest??

Exactly. How often do they play the States? Have you seen them before? What are the chances they'll play that venue again?
