I attended the Salt Lake games today---all 4 games entertaining. Adam Morrison is a freak. Looking forward to the Saturday games.

Oh, and the (Washington) Huskies won too. Go Dawgs.

Day 1:
10/16 including Texas A&M and Wisc-Milwaukee

13 of my Sweet 16 still left (all 3 gone were 13-15 seeds that either went into overtime or lost by 4 or fewer, call them moral victories)

Great Eight is intact.

San Diego St. grasped defeat from the jaws of victory. What a choke job at the end.

And Marquette... you cannot let a guy who averages 8 a game go for 31 in the dance. No one adjusted to Felix... he hardly ever had a hand in his face the entire game.

Syracuse was my only casualty in my Sweet 16. I'm even less of a believer in the Big Least now. The SEC is looking damn good, and A&M at least kept the Big 12 respectable after OU sucked it up.

How in your right mind could you pick 'Cuse over a solid A&M squad? You call yourself a Big 12er, FL? You disappoint me. How far do you have my Jayhawks going? You got UT losing early, too?

11/16 but of the teams on my bracket that lost, I only picked them to win their first game, so i'm still looking alright

I got Kansas beating Pitt and losing to Memphis, and I have Texas in the elite 8 losing to Duke. I have trouble picking against the Longhorns, because they always win when I think they will lose.

In my regular office pool, I'm behind a woman who picked Oral Roberts and Southern to upset #1 seeds and UW-M, Indiana and Syracuse in the Final Four.

Why? This was one "upset" that wasn't. OK sucks ass... and UW-Milwaukee is better than their sweet 16 team from last year. The line on this couldn't have been bigger than 1.5.

Every commentator on ESPN was calling for UMW and Montana to win, and I would have never picked Texas to win it all after the Big XII tournament final.

In one pool I picked ORU to win. This game should be nip and tuck all the way. The Mid-Con is underrated as a conference and ORU has 6 of its 8 top players back from last year's 24-win team. The fact that this team is a 16 seed is a joke... 12-13 is more fitting. Memphis is a one-trick pony than can easily make history today.

Just goes to show that the committee only watches basketball the last week of the season.

I can't believe the Big Sky won a game! Largely in part that Nevada was the weakest 5 seed in the history of the NCAA.

Man, the seedings this year are laughable and we're seeing that already. A&M a 12... should be an 8 or 9. GWU should have been a 5 and was forced to play, what amounted to a second round game, on opening night. Of course Tennessee showed us that they're worthy of a 2 seed. Almost lost, which would have made 5 loses in their last 7 games.

We'll see Bradley prove today they're way too low at 13 when Kansas sweats for 40 minutes.

I hope the Hogs can comeback against Bucknell, but I am sure loving Arizona right now.
