Not a bad episode overall. Sayid should have just beat that guy to death when he had realized he was likely an Other because now Gale is impacting other people. If by chance he was wrong, it's not like there would be any real consequences.

Gale is awesome.

If Sayid, Ana, and Charlie are walking into a trap, like Henry's hinting at, you can bet Sayid's going to open fire on those Others. And as soon as that last bullet leaves the chamber, he's going to be tackling down the rest of them.

Damn right.

Charlie's getting darker. Sayid angrier. Anna Lucia softer. Sun not as innocent.

And Jack and Locke's Oscar and Felix routine should end in butt sex.

They're more than halfway season two and they've only covered about fifty-five days. Is the show going to stay on the air long enough for the baby to be born?

I can't remember, but wasn't that other Korean dude actually gay from season 1? Sun and his parents tried to set them up, but he was actually gay and instead taught her engrish?

I thought he was in love with some American girl, which is why he wasn't hurt when she turned him down. He mentioned something in this episode about how that didn't work out.

Sun was definitely staring/slo-moing in for a kiss in that last scene from the backstory. And she swears to Jin that she's not been with another man. HMmmmmmmmm.

Yeah, his little speech at the end was pretty good. Kind of pissed me off that they showed the hot air balloon in the preview for next week's episode, though. It sure would have held a lot more suspense to save that enormously significant plot point to be revealed in the actual episode itself.

I'm sick of both Jack AND Locke. Why is it those two a-holes get constant screen time each week, but we only seem to get Eko like once a month???

I was a bit unnerved by the island's Helen and Tom Willis bickering. Instead of being grateful her husband survived all those weeks with The Others, she's pissed that he forgot her birthday?!? Fucking A, if his Day-Timer even managed to survive the crash, you just KNOW Sawyer's using it to take notes for his Judy Blume book circle.

I think the only rational thing to do with this show is have Eko kill every one of the Others with his bare hands, then kick the crap out of that thing that ripped the pilot out of the plane. Then swim with all the remaining survivors to LA (drowning Charlie's useless ass along the way), where they will be greeted as saviors.

Except Eko, they'll find out he was a drug lord and send him to jail.

I thought it showed a realistic long-term marriage. They can't function without each other, but within days of being reunited they're sniping at each other. True old-fart love.
