i'm kind of interested in the Ghostface album. I haven't been really interested in a rap album in years.

I am hoping the DBT's grabs me like this.

Oh, and in a mix related move: Radcliffe's TOWER OF MONG is blowing up like an IED in these parts. Its like a pipe-bomb of mongertude and horns, with songs like "Ever Spent a Night in Jail" by The Standells and "Whiskey Talkin" by Jerry Lee Lewis thrown in just to fuck you up even more.

What??
Kaito has a new album?!?

I fell in love with them 5 years ago, when I saw them live. I thought they just sorta dropped off the map after that.

nothing has really, really grabbed me yet. i guess i would say the B&S. i also haven't purchased a whole lot of 06 stuff - neko case, jenny lewis, cat power, lanegan/campbell all have their high points but that's about it.

It's electronic music that's sort of a mix of Steve Roach, Tangerine Dream and Aphex Twin's ambient work. Saul's newer stuff (Fields, Vast) has a lot more percussion than his older work. His 2003 release Fields is probably one of my Top-10 favorite albums of all time.

He has mp3 clips on his website.

Liars

Have only listened to it once, but I can see Band of Horses being one that I constantly listen to.

Still need to give real listens to :
Mono
Built to Spill
Loose Fur
Eef Barzelay
Belle and Sebastian
a few more I'm forgetting.

I tend not to have anything on repeat too long, but that Strokes album has gotten tons o' play. Same with the Arctic Monkeys, depsite the lash, it's short, fun and sounds great loud. I have a feeling this album is going to be next on repeat:

and

Whispertown 2000 - Livin' In A Dream
