Tell me what I need. I have:

Freak Out!
Absolutely Free
a weird, shitty 80s remix of We're Only In It For the Money
Ahead of Their Time (live 1968, Albert Hall)
Cruisin' With Ruben and the Jets
Hot Rats
Burnt Weeny Sandwich
Chunga's Revenge
Weasels Ripped My Flesh
Waka/Jawaka
Fillmore East, 1971
Overnite Sensation
Roxy and Elsewhere
Bongo Fury
Lather (Live in New York, Sleep Dirt, Studio Tan, and Orchestral Favorites recompiled into its originally intended format)
The Yellow Shark

I sold back Them or Us because I never got into it. I also ditched Uncle Meat in high school, but that was definitely a mistake in retrospect.

You would think this would be enough, but here we are. Recommend stuff.

I can vouch for all these. Listening to "Absolutely Free" right now and thinking once again that I need to fill out my Zappa knowledge. Please share some of whatever you pick up.

I can tell you right now that the next place you need to go are the trifecta of Burnt Weeny Sandwich, Chunga's Revenge and Weasels Ripped My Flesh. I would probably like We're Only In It For the Money a lot more if I didn't have a shitty 80s remix of it, because I also love Absolutely Free and it's basically an extension of it to its most absurd conclusion.

I do own most of it - it's part of Lather. This is the one with the Illinois Enema Bandit and Punky's Whips, right?

For some reason, I never thoroughly read your posts/lists, SK. Apologies.

dorkestra's right, you should own Sheik if not only for the fun of 'Broken Hearts Are for Assholes' & 'Bobby Brown' & 'Jewish Princess'. Also, I'd add Lost Episodes. Has a handful of decent (and short) instrumentals and a great, wanky version of 'Sharleena'.

Broken Hearts are for Assholes is also on Lather, but I will take a gander at it at the store. I will check out the Lost Episodes.

Yeah, this and Apostrophe probably head up the list. Also I'm expecting to get You Are What You Is'd by Bloor, so I'll probably look for that one as well. My late 70s/early 80s Zappa is really thin

Yep. I used to have it and rock it out all the time. Its a little insipid at times (what Zappa isn't) but the playing is tight and covers a ton of eras-- and they cover Stairway To Heaven

Sheik Yerbouti will delight. Bobby Brown Goes Down, Flakes... ah good times. As you listen to BBGD, picture me hearing it in a german movie theater while waiting for Titanic to start, sitting next to a couple in their 70's.

Apostrophe is a must-have, IMO.
