yeah, that's possible. do we want to have it public or invitation-only? even if it were invite-only, anyone could see the pictures. contributors would need to be invited, though.

As I'm telling Z on the phone right now, what I'm going to do is set it up so that everyone has the password and login information.

Unfortunately, my dumb ass is having a real problem getting the Yahoo ID (necessary for new Flickr accounts) to sync up with the Flickr ID.

James, seriously, if you want to do it, please do. I'm about to throw my keyboard out the window. Just start from scratch because now I can't even get into the Flickr account I created. Although I do think that for a public/private group, everyone has to have their own IDs.

so, i guess just post your emails and i'll send the invites to people. if you're not already on flickr, you'll obviously have to make an account. since it's now owned by yahoo, you may, though, be able to just sign in with your yahoo username. i don't know how that works.

oh, and anyone who wants to contribute a group icon is more than welcome to do so. it must be within 48x48.

it seems that you can also go straight to the obner group link and request to be added. that's what opa did, but i hadn't seen that option.

If this is going to be another place to post pictures of shows, sunsets, etc. we have myspace for that. I thought this is a replacement for tommy's yearbook idea.

well, flickr is specifically for pictures. so, you do whatever you want. and some of us aren't myspacers anyway.
