Well hot damn, this is nice! Sounding like the perfect summer album.

This track is taken from their forthcoming album out in July entitled "The Trials of Van Occupanther". If you're not familiar with Midlake [or even if you are], the new material definitely has a Fleetwood Mac, Joni Mitchell vibe to it. Don't let that be a turn off, because it really is a fantastic record.

I finally got to download this as the ysi servers have been coming up "Too Busy". So yeah, no kidding that this has a summer feel. I agree with the Joni/Mac vibe from this as well. 'It Covers the Hillside', was a standout for me, definitely one of my favourites. Same with 'We Gathered in Spring', great song.

for you myspace brethren, the video for "Young Bride".

I love this album. Hasn't left my car for the last week. Does anyone else hear a lot of McCartney in there?

This is not bad, these guys are talented. Pretty mellow and summery. Good for relaxing and having on in the background. Straight out of my 70's a.m. radio. :D
