I was wondering if Specter was gonna be on this list...

I'm amazed that Kyl is there though. I also feel like McCain has lost some footing lately as well.

and yeah, Bloor's totally correct about Teddy.

Yeah...I really hate that guy. I'm no fan of Specter either.

And Wayne Allard, one of the worst?

Not a very great list if you ask me.

I'm not so sure the qualifications involve a popularity contest but I'll have to check. :D

Actually, I just thought it was kind of an interesting article especially if you click on the individual Senator's little write up.

I actually like Specter for what its worth.

I have mixed feelings on the guy and some of his choices, but I still respect the hell out of him.

I can't believe Nebraska didn't receive any love, Ben Nelson and Chuck Hagel seem to be pretty damn good, and both are closer to the opposition party then they are their own parties.
Neither of the are as good as Bob Kerrey was, but I think they are better than Exxon and Kearnes were.

I say Susan Collins deserves to have her name in place of Snowe's, and not just because she's from my town.

Snowe is a pretty good lady, but in a drier, not so likeable manner and she's less honest about herself than is Collins. Not to mention dull as spit brick.

Collins is one of the few Republicans I can say I admire, because she's not doing this for power purposes. She's actually a smart, motivated, well-meaning person who's gotten herself where she is through competence instead of dick-sucking. And she's not afraid to tell the old-boy network to bite it.

Don't always agree with her, but I know she's not full of shit, either.

From the man who is sick of these immigrants pressuring "our" government with these demonstrations on the streets? I don't get it...

I am surprised they left Diane Feinstein off the list... the kind of old timer, moderate that this list (other than Kennedy) seems to favor.

Hawaii's Dan Inouye and Akaka are two U.S. senators that will both be in office until they croak. They bring back more pork to our state than any other senator in the U.S.

God bless them both.

And, was on the Warren Comission

So funny how different this list would have been in 2004..you'd have at least 2 more Democrats, Bob Graham and John Breaux, and maybe even Fritz Hollings.

Cochran is kind of surprising, if just because he's kind of a back bencher.

and I am real surprised 20% of this list comes from one state.

The worst list is like shooting fish in a barrel, but Binning's got to top it.

And Conrad Burns isn't really a bad Senator, he is just pretty wrapped up in the Abramoff shit.

I know: I pulled up a list of all 100 Senators trying to make some sense of it all and instead got physically ill.

Its dark now, and will be for some time.
