I actually am kinda sick (sore throat), but it's nothing that would make me call in. Doesn't mean I don't want to be here, though. Bah.

I wanted to sleep in today too... and plus those sweet mugs on my pups were just begging me to stay home. Alas, I am at work.

I actually called in actual-sick today with a migraine. Not fair. I look outside and think "I'd like be out there doing something fun, but it's too bright."

yes and no. let me tell you, never try to move the day after coachella... especially by yourself. i have some of my stuff at my new place but the bigger items are still in storage. i'll take care of that during the weekend when i can borrow my friend's truck and have the boys help me.

I've taken the week off to recover from -- to use the NHL playoff vernacular -- a lower body injury. Believe me, I'd rather be working. I'm so bored!

I wish I had paid sick leave, I definitely would have considered calling in the past two days. It has been unbelievably boring and I am sleepy today and was sleepy when I first got to work yesterday.

It's cold and rainy here and I have the day off, so my plans of "nothing" are coming along nicely.

Every day is a mental sickness day, that's why I come to this fucking looney bin.
