Not so fast, my friend. It'll take more than that to 74 a Lost thread.

Haha, Sawyer was the thief in Aerosmith's "Crying" video in 1993:

now thats funny.

lost is getting better and better this year - started off a bit slow, but has really picked up.

so this code word - heir apparent - is Locke the heir of Hanso or something? His name sounds fake anyway.

And the film was copyright 1980. The problem is, what year is it for them? It started out in, what, 2004? and it was set in present-day then. And it seems to be set in present-day now too. But they haven't been on the island for two years. They've only been there a few months.

i've heard a theory that the show isn't in present day, that's it's 10 years or so in the future.

and i thought the losties hatch was also from the 80's

Yeah. I think I may be the only one here, but I am pretty sure that Libby is going to raise from the dead. Just like the girl that drowned. :)

it refers to Thomas Mittelwerk... the link on the sublymonal site takes you to the bio page, and there's a random text field on mittelwerk's page. you enter the code and learn a little about his history.

Are you counting Libby twice? 'Cause Ana-Lucia AIN'T HOT.

Yeah, the only hot girl to die was Shannon and she wasn't hot enough to make up for her annoyingness.

Point of discussion, re: the film

The guy said something like "once you finish your notebook, put it in this slot and presto! It's sent to us." The way he said "sent to us" and not "sent to a location for pick-up" or something along those lines makes it sound like that tube goes straight to Hanso/Dharma headquarters.

Is there any feasible way Locke and Eko could dig around or chop up some things and follow the route of the pipe? Are we led to believe that the Dharma Initiative is still functional to some degree?

We've found two hatches now which appear to be out of commission, but the medical hatch and the Swan are fully operational still. And then there's the issue of the parachute food drop.

i'm guessing the tube leads to the Question Mark, and that, at least at one point, there were Dharma staff observing the observers from there (hence the camera in the observation room). Or just another set of observers observing the observers. Aaaagh!!!111!1one

I say they just jam Hurley in there and let him report back about where the tube leads.

Libby, Claire, Kate and Ana-Lucia are all hot. Shannon was technically hot but a cow from hell, so that ruint it.

It's a hot island. I mean even Skank Rousseau and Jesus Rose have sort-of selling points. (one's Batshit Ripley Crazy, the other serene and stable and probably cooks like Prince Of Darkness).

The only women on the show that I really find attractive are (were) Libby, Kate, and Sun.

Claire should be, but for reasons I can't quite pinpoint, she just isn't. And somehow Kate has been way less hot this season than last. She's always got that squinty face thing going on. Maybe it's an allergic reaction to fucking a hobbit.

Sun is the winner in my book. Not because I have that weird creepy previously mentioned asian only fetish, but because she is who I find the most attractive, by far.

I totally agree. I've seen stills of her where she's about as hot as any woman on the planet, but when filmed -- ESPECIALLY WITH AUDIO -- it's a dealbreaker.

I will add that I am not gay (not that there's anythirng wrong with that), but Sawyer would probably make the Top 5 on the above list, regardless of gender.
