It was really good and chaotic, but I can't imagine people who don't like their newest album liking it. They actually ended with a cover of Nirvana's "Territorial Pissings". The guitar was a lot more blistering live than on record on almost all the songs.

oh interesting. i mean, interesting for charlottesville. did you read that article (in style weekly maybe?) about all the new venues they're trying to bring here?

There's not really anything interesting about Charlottesville. I fucking hate that place. It was a pretty cool place for a concert though, and you had the option of either standing up by the stage or sitting in the regular theater seats.

I've been hearing about new Richmond venues for about two years now...they were originally supposed to come in the summer of 2004 (or was it 2005?). Anyway, I think a couple 9:30-type clubs would do a pretty good amount of business here, especially since we haven't had anything in so long besides a bunch of hardcore bands. I don't think we'll see anything until at least the fall/winter, though, if anything even happens at all.
