Anything the Bee Gees did on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.
Yes, even "Jive Talkin'"

I can't speak for the rest of it, but I enjoy "Stayin' Alive" on the rare occasion when I hear it. I was at a wedding a few weeks ago where that was easily the best song played at the reception, not that the competition was stiff or anything. And I'm pretty sure I wasn't that drunk.

Brandy by Looking Glass is one of my all time favorite songs.

Lots of Neil Diamond songs, though certainly not all.

If he had less love for schmaltzy arrangements, some of his songs would be more greatly considered by indie peoples. I have a hard time getting past his big-showman entertainer style. Plus some songs are atrocious, like "I Am I Said" His career's gone on so long there are many excellent tracks, though.

I am I said is awesome. both lyrically and melodically.

1337 1443 up, 602 down

n. 1. Nestled between 1336 and 1338, 1337 is commonly known as a number, or for the more advanced; an "integer"
2. Often misused to satisfy a lamen's ego, the self-proclaimed 1337 will misuse the title, pretending to hold Xtr3m H4x0r capabilties while in fact masturbating to preteen beastiality at 2:00 AM with baggy eyes; anonymously hassling n00b's with better things to do than kill their babies over mindrot such as Everquest and Warcraft. See also "colon debris" and "queefstain"

Is that what you mean???

I always get smirks when I play Soft Cell, OMD, or Big Country. I like 'em though.

And this album/artist gets tons of smirks from the peanut gallery but I stand by its coolness.

That record's solid. His cover of "Sneakin' Sally" is ripe, and Little Feat provide awesome back-up throughout.

"The Crossing" was a great record, and I suspect it would have been the fourth Skids album had Adamson stayed with them (instead of the uber-crappy "Joy" that they released). But that appears to have been Stuart's well finally running dry.

Palmer had some purposeful cheese in the mid 80's-mid 90's, but he's got a lot of very good songs on his early albums and on the last couple before he died.
