I went and checked them out last night, and was very happy I did. Their steel guitar player is a brit and is a tremendous player, as is the guy who plays keys. I thought their lead vocalist sounded like Mick Jaegger alot, but occassionally sounded like Beck. The sound was excellent since it was in a Small Blues bar. Since I got there extraordinarily early since I wasn't quite sure when it started, the band offered me free beer for sticking around for the whole show and knocked a few dollars off my merch.
The only thing that sucked about the show was the fact that there was only about 9 people there most of the night and at most 20 at the start of the show.
They did two short sets so they could catch the end of the basketball game. I think they were cheering for Dallas, but I could be wrong.

Still kicking myself for not making the trek to alex City to catch them a few weeks ago.

I'm gonna punch the person responsible in the gut.
