After I attended a porn convention , we went to a restaurant where the Miami - Ole Miss game was on , with the 'Canes up 5 - 3. They extended the lead to 9 - 3. And before I can finish my last beer , Ole Miss tied it 9 - 9 !!! By the time I got home it was over. 11 - 9 Ole Miss

Well the 'Canes took the next 2 games from Ole Miss and actually made it to the College World Series for the 22nd time. That's 10 times in the past 13 years. And I believe only the 4th team to make it playing all their playoff games on the road.

4 ACC teams are in.

The first two teams eliminated from the CWS are Georgia Tech and Georgia. The Peach State is full of losers right now, jk. You should be proud you made it to Omaha, since Nebraska sure didn't.
I want to congratulate the Oregon State Beavers for winning their first CWS game ever. They did it on their third trip to Omaha like Nebraska did last year.

They got a good run going after that first loss. I don't think they'll beat Rice enough times to advance to the finals, but them and Fullerton got some Mojo going right now.
They are alot like Baylor last year and South Carolina a few years back.

They better win it all now that they have proved me wrong several times.
Plus, I thought Rice and Fullerton had the best chances of keeping the ACC from winning it. I thought it would be funny if they didn't win it despite having half the field being from their conference.

Oregon State now leads North Carolina 3-2 in the bottom of the 8th inning. UNC brought in their star pitcher in relief after OSU got two men on base.
If the beavs win they take the series 2-1.

first nw national championship in anything outside UP women's soccer in a long long long time. nw teams usually choke or are jobbed somehow. thanks to NC for throwing this away.

Thanks for beating UNC. I seriously couldn't handle my roommate gloating about UNC baseball when he hasn't ever paid a shit until the past 2 weeks. I would have lost it.

I'm no huge fan of college baseball or Oregon State or anything, but staving off elimination six different times in the same postseason to win a title is bad fucking ass no matter how you slice it. Congrats to the Beavers!
